Common Questions
What does "customer experience" actually mean for a small business?
It’s every touchpoint a client has with you before, during, and after they pay. Your website, how fast you respond to inquiries, what it feels like to get an invoice, whether anyone follows up after the job is done. Most small businesses lose clients at one of these points and don’t know it because no one has ever mapped the full picture for them.
How do you know what's wrong with my business?
I look at it the way your clients do. I audit your digital presence, your intake process, your communications, and how your brand holds up across all of it. Most of the time the gaps are obvious once someone is looking from the outside; that’s the part you genuinely cannot do for yourself. You’re too close to it.
I already have someone handling my marketing. Do I still need this?
Probably yes. Marketing brings people in; customer experience determines whether they stay, refer, and come back. Those are two different problems. If your operations or brand touchpoints aren’t solid, more marketing spend just accelerates the leak.
What do I actually walk away with?
Depending on the session: a recorded Loom or written PDF of findings, a prioritized action plan, and in some cases a full written clarity report with next-step recommendations. Nothing lives only in my head. Everything is documented so you can act on it with or without me.
Do I need to prepare anything before we meet?
You’ll fill out a short intake form before any session. I do the heavy lifting on the front end so our time together stays focused on strategy.

Some things you can act on within days; others are longer plays. The Snapshot delivers findings within 48 hours. For retainer clients, most notice a measurable shift in their intake process or client communications within the first 60 days; that’s where the friction usually lives.

My background runs across fitness, performing arts, hospitality, and professional services, including time inside organizations where the client experience is held to an exceptionally high standard. What that gives me is pattern recognition. I’ve seen what works at scale and what quietly falls apart, and I bring that lens to businesses that are still building.
